The Business Studies (Hons) with Foundation Year program is ideal for students who need additional preparation before embarking on a full degree program. This pathway is available at universities in London, Birmingham, Leeds, and Manchester, and online, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for all students.
The foundation year focuses on building essential academic and professional skills, such as critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving. It also introduces students to key business concepts, including marketing, economics, and financial principles. Upon successful completion of the foundation year, students progress to the three-year Business Studies (Hons) program, where they can specialize in areas such as Entrepreneurship, International Business, or Sustainability.

Foundation Year: Introduction to Business, Academic Skills Development, Principles of Marketing, Basic Economics, and Financial Literacy.
Year 1: Business Communication, Financial Accounting, Market Analysis, and Entrepreneurship.
Year 2: Strategic Management, Digital Marketing, Business Ethics, and Project Management.
Year 3: Global Business Strategy, Innovation, Corporate Finance, and a Capstone Project or Dissertation.

Education Route:

You can qualify if you have:

✅ A Level 3 qualification (equivalent to 60 credits or 80 UCAS tariff points) OR

✅ Five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) OR

✅ No formal education? No problem! We offer opportunities for you to start your learning journey.

Experience Route:

If you don’t meet the academic criteria, you may still qualify with:

✅ 6 months to 1 year of work experience within the last 12 months.
