The modules adopt a practical, hands-on approach, enabling you to develop transferable, real-world skills. You’ll gain expertise in areas such as coding, database and web document creation, data analysis, cloud computing, IT project management, systems analysis, and more.
Here are a couple of key modules offered in this course:
Data Mining
In the modern workplace and society, data holds immense value. This module focuses on teaching you how to manipulate and visualise data to support informed decision-making across various sectors. You will also develop skills in Python, a widely used programming language in data science.
Web Application Development
With the increasing reliance on web-based applications, this module trains you to build dynamic, interactive systems that integrate with a database backend. You will work with technologies such as PHP, MySQL, HTML, and CSS to create solutions suited to today’s digital landscape.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the BSc Computing top-up degree, you must have:
A relevant HND or equivalent qualification, with module content that includes Web Design, Databases, Programming, and Computer Systems & Networking.
English Language Requirements
An IELTS score of 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any element) or a TOEFL iBT score of 80, or an equivalent qualification, is required.
We also provide an internal English test for applicants who need to demonstrate their language proficiency. Applications are welcome from individuals who can demonstrate the motivation and commitment to successfully complete this computing top-up degree.
