Data Mining
In today’s workplace and society, data is paramount. This module teaches you how to manipulate and visualise data to inform decision-making across a variety of sectors. You’ll also develop skills in Python, a leading programming language in the field of data science.
Web Application Development
Modern applications increasingly run in web browsers rather than on desktops. This module enables you to showcase your ability to create interactive, web-based systems by integrating skills in databases, programming, web design, and user experience.
Ethics, Quality, and Sustainability in Technological Environments
Explore the ethical dilemmas faced by IT practitioners and examine how their decisions impact organisations and society. You’ll use ethical frameworks and professional codes of conduct relevant to IT professionals to analyse real-world examples. With current events highlighting the consequences of faulty systems, this module emphasizes the importance of embedding ethical practices and sustainable behaviours in IT operations.

You can take up to 3 years to finish each level of this course, which has a duration of 3 to 9 years. However, the majority of our students hope to finish their education in three to six years.

Please note that if you choose to study through the blended learning mode, not all modules may be available at every study centre. However, timetables will be arranged to accommodate students who may need to travel to other centres or join live online classes.
Eligibility
To be eligible to study this degree, you will need to meet the following criteria:
Academic Qualifications:
- Two subjects at GCE A-Level (or equivalent), along with passes at grade C or above in three subjects at GCSE level (or equivalent).
- If you do not meet these qualifications, the course is also available with an additional Foundation Year, designed to provide extra support for students starting their degree.
Foundation Year Mode:
- The Foundation Year is offered exclusively through a blended learning mode and is not available for students wishing to study entirely online.
Personal Statement and Supporting Documents:
- A personal statement demonstrating your motivation for studying the course.
- References and evidence of relevant work experience may also be requested.

English Language Requirements
- IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any element), TOEFL iBT 60-78, or an equivalent qualification.
- Alternatively, evidence of prior study in English, such as a letter confirming that the Medium of Instruction was in English, can be accepted.
- An internal English test is also available for applicants who need to demonstrate their language proficiency.
