The BSc (Hons) Health, Wellbeing, and Social Care with Foundation Year offers a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare sector, equipping you with the skills and experiences needed to make a meaningful impact after graduation.

The Foundation Year is carefully designed to develop your academic abilities while introducing essential topics in health and social care. This foundational knowledge will prepare you for the following years of study and give you a strong start in understanding the sector.

Over the next three years, the course gradually increases in intensity, covering critical subjects such as the behavioural influences on healthcare delivery and effective management strategies within the sector. You’ll benefit from high-quality course materials and guidance from experienced lecturers who bring a wealth of professional insights and practical expertise to your learning journey.

Eligibility​ & Entry Requirements

• Possess a Level 3 qualification, which is equal to 80 UCAS tariff points or 60 credits.
• Possess the following credentials: English is one of the five GCSEs at grade 4/C or higher, or equivalent.
•Students aged 21 and over who do not meet the typical admission standards but who can show a willingness and dedication to learning this subject as well as academic, professional, or vocational experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
